Allen Park, Michigan, United States Talascend is currently seeking a Material & Build Coordinator for a contract opportunity with our client in Allen Park, Michigan. Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join the team as a Material & Build Coordinator. This role provides critical operational support to departments focused on prototype development, focusing on materials tracking, inventory management, and documentation. Responsibilities Oversee inventory levels for departments, ensuring all necessary parts and materials are available for scheduled builds.
Maintain precise records of part movement and availability to prevent delays in the development cycle.
Act as the central hub for work orders, ensuring they are accurately documented, assigned, and tracked through completion.
Serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all paint material ordering, managing relationships with suppliers and ensuring correct specifications of paint materials are always on hand.
Maintain digital and physical records, ensuring all compliance and process documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
Identify opportunities to streamline material handling and tracking workflows between departments. Qualifications Proven track record of showing up on time and putting in the effort to get the job done right.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized while supporting two different departments.
Desire to learn the technical requirements of both paint and battery operations and a willingness to take feedback and grow.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to act as a liaison between technicians, engineers, and suppliers.
Proficiency in basic office software (Excel, Outlook, etc.) and a quick learner of internal inventory management systems. We thank all applicants for their interest.
