Job Description:
SUMMARY The Advanced Planning Schedule Coordinator processes engineering releases, including data inputting, record keeping, and filing. They will perform the activities of the Release Processor, as well as Scheduler through the releases approvals in Teamcenter and processing to our ERP Systems. They work closely with Master Scheduler and Planning Manager on Projects follow up and schedule updates in our systems and creates reports for project updates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Supports Advanced Planning in controlling and releasing of designs, drawings and BOM's, and Controls Line Ups/M9/M14. Verifies accuracy of design/documentation releases prior to submittal to Release approval in TC, and processing in the D365 System. Coordinates revision changes with Purchasing to ensure correct material. Must understand how all the departments and all the software systems interact effectively. Understands and follows safety & environmental regulations and identifies safety/environmental concerns in KUKA's facilities as well as in the customer's facilities. Adheres to the Quality System and participates in continuous improvement. Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job. Responsible for administration data information flow in D365 from Teamcenter as related to material processing. Works with Teamcenter, processes releases in D365, and tracks material and releases in One11. Updates information in Progress tracking, on design, controls, as well as manufacturing. Enters B.O.M. data and purchase requisitions received from Engineering into computerized B.O.M. system for transfer to Purchasing. Coordinates revision changes with Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing to ensure correct material. Verifies PLM data before releasing to Purchasing. Assists in updating schedules for manufacturing and planning. Assists in coordinating activities associated with project set-up. Acts as point person for material processing in D365. Interacts between Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Follow-up and Accounting. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or one- or two-years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
