Job Description

Commercial Manufacturing & Assembly is a family-owned metal fabrication, laser cutting, welding, and final assembly company, operating for over 33 years in Grand Haven, MI. CMA has developed a reputation as a highly versatile producer of precision metal components across many industries. CMA is seeking a skilled Materials/Production Planner to join our team in Grand Haven!
Responsibilities:
Coordinate production workflow for multiple product lines. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to ensure accurate products. Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand. Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget. Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption. Obtain output information. Work with customers and suppliers to ensure best results. Inventory Management to ensure on time delivery to customers. Maintains inventory levels. Work cohesively with sister companies on multisite projects.
Qualifications:
Strong knowledge and understanding of material purchasing. Must be a team player with well-developed interpersonal skills with a willingness to learn. Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset. Proficient at Microsoft office. Experience using typical MPR/ERP systems. Salary based on experience.

Full-time Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
