POSITION SUMMARY
The Material Coordinator position is responsible for monitoring all crib functions to ensure inventory accuracy goals are met.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide daily pick lists to pullers in support of daily build schedule and/or shipping schedule. Notify material planning and engineering of B.O.M. and/or routing errors. Notify planners when last issue occurs for factory supply items. Process return to stock items from manufacturing. Execute weekly cycle count data and direct team to complete in a timely manner. Manage all crib functions to ensure a minimum inventory accuracy goal of 95% is achieved. Monitor ECN's for purchase parts and take appropriate action to support assigned effectivity. Responsible for updating Purchase Part Shortage List as necessary. Resolve pick or stock level discrepancies as notified by pullers or manufacturing. Communicate receiving discrepancies to appropriate planner(s) for resolution. Identify suppliers that are not conforming to required part labeling and/or palletization requirements. Process Outside Service outgoing parts by completing MSShipper and coordinating the shipment method. Monitor receiving dock and crib work content and redirect/assign team labor to support. Process rejected material via provided MSShipper for return to supplier. Ensure all equipment is operated within established Safety Guidelines. Responsible for ensuring crib daily housekeeping standards are met. Resolve invoice discrepancies from Finance. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED required. Experience with AS400 preferred. Experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred, but not required.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently. Strong organizational skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Intermediate computer skills.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Extended work hours occasionally required. Keyboarding is required. Work frequently requires attention to details and periodically involves pressures related to meeting deadlines, scheduling requirements and simultaneous projects.
