Job Description

Material Coordinator Reports to: Director -
Logistics & Warehouse Job Summary:
This position includes Shipping, Receiving, and Warehouse functions.
Primary Functions:
Load and unload trucks as needed Perform visual inspection of incoming and outgoing parts verifying the quality and quantity of items against supporting documents Maintain inventory and storage area, organize and place stock on shelves Pick orders; package and label shipments Assist in completion of cycle counts Participate in rotating after-hours Aircraft on Ground (AOG) on-call support, responding to urgent parts requests and coordinating shipments outside normal business hours as required Follow established Quality and safety procedures Duties as assigned by Director -
Logistics & Warehouse Experience/Skills Required:
Experience in general warehouse activities preferred Strong attention to detail required Computer skills required Ability to accurately input numerical data Good communication skills Highly capable of multi-tasking Knowledge of Hazardous Materials and Dangerous Goods preferred Some carpentry and mechanical skills preferred Forklift experience preferred Ability to meet physical requirements including: a variety of standing, sitting and walking throughout the day; regular lifting up to 20 pounds and occasional lifting of 30-40 pounds, occasional cling of ladders; use of fork truck and pallet jacks. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
