Join Mercantile Bank as a Part Time Payroll Distribution Specialist working 15 hours a week as part of the Human Capital Management team at our Wyoming, MI location.
Core Responsibilities:
The Payroll Distribution Specialist is responsible for preparation, packaging, and coordinating the distribution for delivery of all payroll documentation including checks, deposit advices and reports using multiple delivery channels including Mercantile Courier, US Mail, UPS and other third-party delivery services that may be required. A Look into Your Day You will work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 11:30am-4:40pm as well as Full-Time for a few weeks in January for the printing and distribution of Year-End Tax Forms (W2/1099/1095) at our Wyoming campus.Your essential job functions include:
Servicing the packaging and distribution of payroll and tax information. This includes daily production schedule management, collecting package contents, use and routine maintenance of facility equipment to package, stuff and seal envelopes, content verification, accuracy controls, and scheduling delivery within established time frames. Serving as the main point of contact and coordinator between Payroll Services, Logistics Department, third party delivery channels, and the client for coordinating and scheduling the delivery of packaged payroll documents. Preparation and scheduling of packages for delivery using multiple delivery services including Mercantile Couriers, US Mail, UPS, and other delivery services as required. The Distribution Specialist supports ongoing delivery to clients through issue resolution, coordinating special deliveries, process improvement recommendations, preparation of additional end of quarter and end of year tax packages, coordinating end of quarter, end of year, and special delivery options with existing delivery schedules and packaging annualW2/1099/1095
statements. Maintaining an inventory of payroll processing and delivery supplies including checks, envelopes and tamper proof delivery materials.Requirements:
