Senior Supply Planner Land O'Lakes - 3.5 Arden Hills, MN Job Details Full-time $93,360 - $140,040 a year 9 hours ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree Data-driven problem-solving Full Job Description Senior Supply Planner As a Senior Supply Planner, you are responsible for production, inventory, and capacity planning for tub, block and mineral finished goods to supply the entire network of Purina Animal Nutrition. This role is located at our corporate headquarters in Arden Hills, MN (In office Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week). As a Senior Supply Planner for Tubs/Blocks/Minerals, you will be responsible for: Developing and improving inventory strategies to balance supply with forecasted demand to meet defined customer service goals while balancing and minimizing age risk Balance direct customer vs downstream demand Collaborating with plants to improve production scheduling efficiencies Leading monthly Sales and Operation Planning (S&OP) meetings to provide insights to accomplish working capital reduction and drive team towards alignment on strategies Raise open and constrained capacity to the cross functional team Compiling meaningful data and insights to influence key business partners to align on executing proactive decisions that aid in balancing age and service expectations Leading discussions on upcoming supply risks tied to aligned-on decisions by cross functional partners Track KPI's and compile data to share with cross functional team to pivot supply plan according to KPI results You will also work with transportation to improve transportation efficiencies, and with warehousing to improve space utilization. Finally, you will be responsible for helping drive a data driven decision-making culture and improving current systems and tools.
Required Experience/Education:
Bachelors degree 3-5+ years experience in inventory management, production planning or related field Systems background in MRP/DRP planning tools or customer order management systems
Competencies/Skills:
Ability to lead meetings and drive consensus and action plans Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and plan daily planning activities. Proven communication skills. Quantitative skills; ability to analyze data. PowerBI user experience Ability to solve problems and make decisions in a timely manner. Ability to work well under pressure and provide follow-up with strong attention to detail
Salary:
