Duties As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various aspects of the supply chain process.

Your main duties will include:

• Supplier management: Collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Ocean Carrier and Truck Logistics coordination: Overseeing the transportation of goods by working closely with our various carriers to ensure efficient and cost-effective shipment.
• Logistics management: Planning and coordinating the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
• Transportation management: Optimizing transportation routes and modes to ensure timely delivery while minimizing costs.
• Inventory control: Monitoring inventory levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory management.
• Settlement and invoicing: Managing shipment settlements, preparing invoices, reconciling costs, and ensuring accurate and timely payments to suppliers, customers, and service providers
• Grain accounting support: Tracking contracts, shipments, and inventory movements while maintaining accurate records and coordinating with merchandising and accounting teams to ensure proper execution and reporting. Skills To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with suppliers, service providers, and commodity trader colleagues.
• Proficiency in excel and outlook.
