This role supports end‑to‑end order execution by expediting shipments, verifying order acknowledgments, resolving vendor discrepancies, and maintaining essential compliance documentation. The position also plays a key role in supplier performance management by maintaining scorecards and fostering strong relationships with both domestic and international vendors. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across supply chain, procurement, logistics, and quality teams. Key Responsibilities Order Expediting — Monitor open purchase orders, identify potential delays, and work directly with suppliers to accelerate production or shipment timelines to meet internal demand and customer commitments. Unacknowledged Order Verification — Review daily reports to identify unacknowledged purchase orders, follow up with vendors to obtain timely confirmations, and ensure all order details are accurately reflected in the ERP system. Vendor Communication & Coordination — Serve as a primary liaison for domestic and international suppliers, ensuring clear communication regarding order status, documentation requirements, production updates, and issue resolution. Order Discrepancy Resolution — Investigate discrepancies related to pricing, quantities, product specifications, or shipment accuracy. Collaborate with suppliers to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence. Compliance Documentation Management — Create, collect, and maintain compliance documentation such as regulatory certifications, safety data sheets, product testing results, and import/export documents to ensure adherence to internal and external requirements. Vendor Compliance Procurement — Communicate with suppliers to obtain required compliance materials, verify accuracy, and ensure alignment with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Supplier Scorecard Management — Maintain supplier performance scorecards, tracking key metrics including On‑Time Delivery (OTD), quality performance, responsiveness, and documentation accuracy. Provide feedback to suppliers and support continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or related field preferred Previous experience in supply chain, procurement, order management, or vendor relations (ideally 2-5 years) is preferred but not required. We value strong problem-solving skills, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to learn quickly. Strong understanding of supply chain processes, vendor management, and compliance requirements Proficiency with ERP systems and order‑tracking tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with global suppliers Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, interpret data, and recommend solutions High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational discipline Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Work Environment & Schedule:
In person - office Flexibility with working remotely one day a week (once full hands-on training is completed)
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday; 7 am-4 pm or 8 am-5 pm Summer hours available
