Livestock Transportation specialist Reichmann Land and Cattle 15290 127th Street, Villard, MN 56385 $18.50 - $32.00 an hour - Full-time $18.50 - $32.00 an hour - Full-time pre-employment Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Livestock transportation specialist to join our dynamic agricultural team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the daily movement of livestock to ensure their health, safety, and well-being. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills in animal husbandry, equipment operation, and farm maintenance. The role would primarily consist of hauling cattle to packing plants in the region roughly 4 days a week, 12 hours a day. There is an opportunity for much more work depending upon the individual. We are a medium size farm/ cattle feeding operation; we can be very flexible with work schedules and create a pay package to suit your needs. Your proactive approach and attention to safety standards will contribute significantly to the success of our farming operations. Duties Safely load and unload livestock using appropriate animal handling techniques and equipment such as gates, chutes, and fencing. Operate heavy machinery including semi-trucks, farm tractors, and other agricultural equipment to assist with cleaning and transportation. Perform routine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of farm machinery and equipment, including basic maintenance such as greasing. Follow safety protocol in production environments while performing manual handling tasks involving outdoor work conditions. Requirements Valid CDL with experience driving a truck. Be able to pass pre-employment drug screening. Basic cattle handling is a plus but can be taught to the right individual. Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery repair, including general maintenance of agricultural equipment. Join us to be part of a passionate team committed to safe farming practices!
