Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join our team. This role provides hands-on experience in supply chain management, including procurement, logistics, inventory control, and supplier relations. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to support day-to-day operations and contribute to process improvement initiatives. Martinrea Riverside is a manufacturing plant in Riverside, MO that specializes in industrial and automotive manufacting. Processes include assembly, welding, machining, robotics. Our culture is based on lean manufacturing, innovation, treating people well, and continous improvement. Key Responsibilities Assist with inventory tracking, analysis, and reporting. Support purchasing activities, including creating purchase orders and tracking supplier performance. Help coordinate logistics, including inbound and outbound shipments. Collect and analyze supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency. Participate in supplier communications and relationship management. Support the team in implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives. Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for internal use. Assist with ERP/MRP system updates and data accuracy checks. Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality departments to align supply chain needs. Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Learning Opportunities Exposure to real-world supply chain challenges and solutions. Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics. Opportunity to work on cross-functional projects with impact on business operations.
