POSITION SUMMARY
The Vendor Relations Analyst represents Bass Pro Shops to the external vendor community by maintain strong relationships with key partners. This role provides daily administrative support for the communication, operation, and coordination of key Supply Chain processes that takes place between Vendors, Third Party Providers and Bass Pro Shops. By ensuring a high level of customer service and serving as an ambassador for Bass Pro Shops, the Vendor Relations Analyst serves to fulfill Bass Pro Shops mission of inspiring everyone to enjoy, love and conserve the great outdoors.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Coordinate Vendor Guide Process by updating and revising information on the Vendor Guide, updating and amending agreements along with distribution to vendors and merchants, and communicating changes and updates to the Vendor Guide to BPS associates and vendors Manage Vendor Relations Portal by Vendor Access processing and set up, updating the information posted on the Portal, and working on new implementation of new portal capabilities. Manage Vendor database to ensure vendors that are not actively doing business with BPS are systemically inactivated to mitigate debit balances. Coordinate Vendor Shipping Problems concerning FedEx, along with other shipping concerns, with the Logistics Department to help resolve. Resolve Vendor Finance/Accounting issue questions and responses. Initiate New Vendor Instructions Shipping, Routing, Reverse Logistics Programs and Compliance Requirements. Coordinate EDI Requirements with Vendors and BPS. Collaborate with various departments to improve processes between BPS and the vendor community. All other duties as assigned
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Degree Required:
Bachelor's degree required
Experience:
Minimum 2 years' full-time work experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and E-Signature Programs Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Illustrator Strong verbally and written communication skills and ability to interact with various levels of leadership Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
