Job Description

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing the movement of goods and resources from the manufacturer to the appropriate delivery location. This involves overseeing various aspects of the supply chain, including inventory control, transportation, and warehousing, to meet organizational goals. Responsibilities Tracking inventory levels and ensuring accuracy of records. Ensure proper reception, labeling, and storage of deliveries and speech devices. Coordination of shipments, arranging transportation, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery. Develop and implement logistics plans, processes, and strategies to optimize supply chain operations. Identify areas for improvement in the supply chain to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Communicate with suppliers and staff to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations. Ensure that all logistics operations comply with relevant compliance and state regulations and standards. Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time and budget effectively.
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years' experience with Logistics and Project Management or similar Knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles Ability to work successfully as part of a team Strong communication skills Strong organizational and analytical skills Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
