Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive International Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic supply chain team. This role is essential in managing and optimizing the global movement of goods, ensuring seamless coordination between suppliers, warehouses, transportation providers, and customers. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in supply chain management, transportation planning, and logistics analytics to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and support our international business growth. Duties Oversee end-to-end international shipping and receiving processes, including freight forwarding, NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations, and customs compliance. Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, 3PL providers, and internal teams to ensure timely procurement, order fulfillment, and inventory management. Utilize transportation management systems (TMS), ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle, and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track shipments, optimize routes, and improve delivery schedules. Conduct root cause analysis on supply chain disruptions or delays; implement process improvements to mitigate future issues. Manage procurement activities including sourcing vendors, negotiating contracts, and establishing pricing strategies aligned with category management principles. Analyze supply chain data using SQL and Tableau to identify trends, forecast demand, and support demand planning initiatives. Monitor warehouse distribution activities such as materials handling, stocking levels, and inventory control to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Collaborate on freight cost analysis; optimize transportation planning to balance cost savings with service quality. Support warehouse experience initiatives by coordinating shipping & receiving operations and forklift utilization where applicable. Maintain supplier relationships through effective vendor management strategies; oversee contract compliance and performance metrics. Assist in logistics documentation preparation for international shipments including bills of lading, customs declarations, and shipping & receiving records. Contribute to profit & loss analysis related to logistics operations; identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising service standards. Experience Minimum of three years of experience in international logistics coordination or supply chain management roles. Proven expertise in transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms such as SAP or Oracle. Strong knowledge of global shipping regulations, customs procedures, NVOCC operations, freight forwarding, and international trade compliance. Demonstrated ability in data analysis using SQL, Tableau or similar tools for supply chain analytics. Experience with procurement processes including sourcing strategies, contract negotiations, and vendor/vendor management. Familiarity with inventory management practices such as MRP (Material Requirements Planning), demand planning, and inventory control techniques. Mechanical knowledge related to materials handling equipment like forklifts is a plus. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform root cause analysis and implement process improvements effectively. Strong communication skills for coordinating across multiple stakeholders in a diverse international environment.
