We are one of the fastest-growing event rental companies in the Wilmington region. Our team handles weddings, private events, corporate events, festivals, tent installations, lighting, dance floors, draping, tableware, bars, and specialty rentals. This is a great opportunity for someone who is bilingual (Spanish/ English), organized, dependable, and ready to grow into operations leadership. This is not just a warehouse job. This is a leadership support role for someone who can help keep people, trucks, equipment, and event details moving in the right direction as we average 10-20 events per week. Pay $18.00-$22.00 per hour Starting pay depends on experience. Higher pay may be available for candidates with strong experience in: Bilingual English/Spanish communication Event rentals Logistics Warehouse operations Project management Scheduling Team leadership Driving or fleet coordination Client-facing service About the Role The Bilingual Assistant Manager will support the Operations Director and leadership team with daily event logistics, warehouse preparation, vehicle loading, scheduling, client communication, and project coordination. This person will help make sure every event is properly prepared and strategized before it leaves the warehouse. That includes reviewing job notes, checking equipment, confirming vehicles are loaded correctly, helping crews understand the plan, and communicating clearly with clients, planners, and venues when needed. Key Responsibilities Help coordinate daily deliveries, pickups, crews, trucks, and event schedules Review invoices, job notes, diagrams, and setup instructions before events Help make sure vehicles are loaded correctly before leaving the warehouse Confirm that equipment, tools, hardware, lighting, flooring, draping, and specialty items are prepared correctly Support VIP setups, high-priority weddings, and complex event installations Communicate professionally with clients, planners, venues, and internal team members Assist with project management for large events, tent jobs, lighting jobs, draping jobs, and specialty rental setups Help solve problems before they affect the client experience Support quality control before delivery and after pickup Track job progress and communicate updates to operations leadership Help guide crews during loading, setup, breakdown, and warehouse preparation Support vehicle readiness, equipment organization, and daily closeout procedures Maintain a high standard of professionalism on every job site What We're Looking For Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred Strong communication skills Organized and detail-oriented Comfortable speaking with clients, planners, and venue managers Able to read job notes, invoices, diagrams, and setup instructions Strong problem-solving skills Calm under pressure Reliable, punctual, and accountable Team-first mindset Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to work hands-on when needed Driver's license required Event rental, warehouse, logistics, moving, construction, hospitality, or project management experience preferred This Role Is a Great Fit For Someone Who Wants to grow into operations leadership Enjoys organizing people, equipment, schedules, and details Can communicate clearly with both crews and clients Takes pride in preparation and follow-through Understands that small details prevent big problems Wants to be part of a growing company with real advancement opportunities Schedule & Requirements Full-time position Day shift required Some nights and weekends required based on event schedule Must be able to commute to Castle Hayne / Wilmington, NC Must be able to work in person Must be comfortable working around event schedules Must be able to assist in a hands-on environment when needed Why Work With Perfect Touch Rental? Responsibilities Coordinate and oversee all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, transportation, and on-site operations Manage transportation planning and fleet management to optimize delivery schedules and reduce costs Supervise warehouse activities such as inventory control, shipping & receiving, order fulfillment, and warehouse distribution Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency across supply chain functions Oversee procurement activities including purchasing, vendor negotiations, and contract management for logistics services Utilize ERP systems, Warehouse Management Channels, and analytical tools to monitor performance metrics and identify areas for continuous improvement Lead and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring safety standards are met while fostering a productive team environment Monitor budget adherence related to logistics activities, including profit & loss analysis and cost control measures Support demand planning, production scheduling, and materials management to meet organizational goals efficiently Skills Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with excellent communication skills in both languages Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles, including inventory management, procurement, and warehouse operations Experience supervising warehouse teams with a focus on safety, productivity, and process optimization Solid understanding of budgeting practices and process improvement methodologies like Lean or Continuous Improvement frameworks Hands-on experience with warehouse equipment including forklifts; certification is a plus Ability to analyze complex logistics data to optimize supply chain performance and support strategic decision-making This role is ideal for proactive leaders eager to make an impact through strategic planning, operational excellence, and bilingual communication skills.
