Job Description Responsibilities As a Logistics Specialist, you will ensure operational excellence by supporting both internal and external customers. Responsibilities include making appointments for the customer, entering shipment data, and communicating to help resolve issues and ensure on-time departures/arrivals, with a focus on generating revenue and maintaining cost-savings goals for the customer. You will also provide excellent customer service to all carriers and customers. The successful candidate will develop tailored solutions that deliver value and align with the customer's business strategy. Manage day-to-day shipping and receiving activity for the client while achieving customer and company goals Work with business analytics to drive continuous process improvements across the client's supply chain Build strong relationships internally and externally with customers, carriers, and suppliers Collaborate with industry professionals to better understand internal processes and supply chain best practices Provide high-quality operational support to customers, carriers, and suppliers Ensure accurate shipment data entry and maintain quality standards Handle incoming and outgoing calls, ensuring top-tier customer service Provide timely and accurate shipment updates to carriers Audit load details for accuracy and completeness Respond promptly to requests from customers, carriers, and suppliers Support internal and external revenue/savings goals What You Need to Succeed Key Attributes Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong internet navigation skills Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and think critically Prior experience in business operations or sales operations is a plus Strong verbal and written communication Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting Skilled in relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven Experience in transportation or logistics a plus Benefits / Schedule Company Offering 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible spending accounts Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance
