- The Planning Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance work packages are planned efficiently through initiation, organization, execution, control and closure for every aircraft visit with emphasis on quality and accuracy of the finished product. This position will have knowledge of the most accurate status of the aircraft for each assigned project.
- What you will be responsible for:
- + Estimate customer supplied work packages and programs for individual skills.
- What you will need to be successful in this role:
- + High school diploma or equivalent + Two (2) years aviation experience + Read, write, speak and understand the English language + Basic computer knowledge of typical PC and mainframe programs + Strong Excel use experience + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Good problem-solving skills + Displays a professional demeanor and appearance + Capable of planning, presenting and executing pre-planning meeting agenda goals + Must be a self-starter and ability to work with minimum supervision + Ability to read and understand print/technical work instructions + Two (2) year's specific aircraft planning/pricing preferred + Two (2) years aviation mechanical "hands on" experience preferred + Two (2) years commercial aircraft experience preferred + Comprehensive knowledge of aircraft related scheduling and maintenance packages preferred + Four-year college degree in business, aviation management, engineering or related field preferred + A&P Certification preferred •The rewards of your career at AAR go far beyond just your salary:•+ Competitive salary + Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
