Material Coordinator - Metalcrafters NC Goldsboro, NC Full-Time $16+/hour (based on experience) - Opportunity for growth Warehouse Material Coordinator Metalcrafters NC is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to join our operations team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring materials, inventory, tools, equipment, and deliveries are properly managed to support production, installation, and project schedules. We're looking for dependable individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, value accountability, and take pride in keeping operations organized and running efficiently. What You'll Be Responsible For Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders, packing slips, and project requirements Organize, label, and maintain inventory, stock materials, and project-specific materials throughout the facility Pull, stage, and distribute materials to support fabrication, production, and installation schedules Coordinate material deliveries, pickups, and transfers between vendors, job sites, and company facilities Track inventory levels and assist with maintaining accurate inventory records Identify material shortages and communicate inventory needs to management promptly Maintain warehouse, storage areas, and material yards in a clean, organized, and safe condition Safely operate forklifts, telehandlers, combi lifts, and other material handling equipment as trained Utilize the Metalcrafters app to track inventory, material movement, deliveries, and project-related updates Assist with loading and unloading trucks while ensuring materials are properly secured and protected Conduct routine inventory counts and assist with periodic inventory audits Support production, project management, and field teams by ensuring materials are available when needed Complete required documentation, inventory logs, delivery records, and reporting accurately Identify opportunities to improve inventory control, warehouse organization, and operational efficiency Qualifications Valid Driver's License required Prior warehouse, inventory, logistics, material handling, construction, or manufacturing experience preferred Forklift experience required Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to read and interpret packing slips, purchase orders, shipping documents, and material lists Basic computer and mobile app proficiency required Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple departments Self-driven, dependable, and motivated with a strong work ethic Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities throughout the day Ability to lift up to 75 lbs as needed Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments in varying weather conditions Ability to maintain required certifications including forklift, telehandler, combi lift, and related equipment certifications Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential Why Join Metalcrafters?
