Warehouse & Logistics Specialist/Manager (Aerospace | AS9100)
Pay:
$22-$30/hr (Based on Experience)
Schedule:
9:00am-5:30pm ET (Overtime on critical days)

Charlotte, NC Hire Dynamics is actively sourcing a Warehouse & Logistics Specialist for an AS9100-certified aerospace manufacturer. This role was previously titled Shipping Manager , but the responsibilities remain the same. We are looking for someone with strong picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and ERP experience who can operate with urgency and accuracy in a fast-paced, high-value environment. Position Overview This role supports the full flow of incoming and outgoing materials, including raw materials, WIP, finished goods, tooling, and small/high-value aerospace components. You'll handle detailed manual packing, shipment preparation, documentation, and ERP transactions while ensuring compliance with AS9100 standards and strict traceability requirements. Key Responsibilities Pick, pack, and manually package small/high-value aerospace components Prepare outbound shipments: boxing, labeling, packing slips, BOLs, and documentation Perform hands-on shipping & receiving tasks with accuracy and urgency Use a cloud-based ERP system for receiving, inventory updates, and shipping transactions Verify certifications, part numbers, quantities, and documentation for compliance Support inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and material movement (WIP/FG/raw) Follow AS9100 procedures, packaging standards, and traceability requirements Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely Maintain organized work areas aligned with 5S and quality expectations Qualifications Managerial experience in warehouse environment Direct experience in picking, packing, shipping, and receiving ERP experience required (regulated or high-value environment preferred) Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced, versatile environment with shifting priorities Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, or AS9100 environments is a plus Forklift/material-handling experience Ideal Candidate Traits High attention to detail Strong communication and urgency Comfortable handling high-value, precision components Able to manage fluctuating workloads and stay organized Quality-focused with strong ownership of tasks Managerial experience in warehouse environment
