Full Job Description Behavioral Transport Specialist Location:

5101 Dunlea Ct, Wilmington, NC 28403

Schedule:

Part-Time hours (30-40hrs/week), between 8-6 Monday through

Friday Pay:

$16-$22 ($2 increase once completing RBT course and necessary trainings) About the Role We're looking for a dependable, calm-under-pressure professional to join our team as a Behavioral Transport Specialist . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to make a meaningful impact while combining safe transportation with hands-on behavioral support. You'll play a key role in helping clients safely transition between home, school, and our clinic—while using evidence-based strategies to support behavior, reduce stress, and create a positive experience during transport. What You'll Do Safely drive clients to and from the clinic, home, or school Create a structured, supportive, and calm environment during transit Use behavior strategies to prevent and de-escalate challenging situations Communicate important updates to clinical staff and caregivers Assist with client transitions and provide support during high-need moments in the clinic Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized vehicle What We're Looking For Comfortable working with children, including those with autism or behavioral challenges Ability to stay composed and make sound decisions in high-stress situations Strong communication and teamwork skills Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented

Required Qualifications:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Pass a DOT medical examination and maintaining a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate. Pass a pre-employment drug test and complying with random testing thereafter. Preferred Qualifications (but not required): Previous experience in a role involving driving or transporting clients Experience in ABA, childcare, education, or related fields RBT certification or willingness to obtain (we can help!)
