Job Description:

The United States Postal Service is seeking a motivated and dependable Postal Support Employee (PSE) Sales and Service Associate to work at the Lisco Post Office. PSEs are non-career employees who provide important customer service and mail processing support in a retail setting. This is an ideal entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in a career with the USPS.As a PSE, you'll assist customers at the retail counter, sell postal products and services, process incoming and outgoing mail, and provide general support to postal operations. While this position is primarily based in Lisco, there may be opportunities to work additional hours at nearby post offices as needed. ⸻

Hours:

Variable schedule based on operational needs Lisco Post Office is open limited hours daily Additional hours may be available at nearby offices.

Range:

25-35 hours per week depending on availability and coverage needs ⸻

Pay & Benefits:

Hourly wage: $20.48

• $23.00 (based on USPS Level 6 pay scale)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide friendly and efficient customer service at the retail counter Sell stamps, postal products, and services Accept and process mail and packages Operate a computerized point-of-sale system (POS) Sort, distribute, and prepare mail for delivery Maintain a clean and organized workspace Follow USPS policies and safety standards May perform other duties as assigned ⸻
