USA - Demand Planner#26-11932 Englewood Cliffs, NJ Onsite Job Description Job Description - Demand Analytics Planner Client will be part of a bold, digitally enabled Supply Chain transformation—where advanced analytics, AI‐driven forecasting, and human insight come together to shape how we plan, produce, and deliver iconic ice cream brands. As a Demand Analytics Planner, this role sits at the intersection of business and data science—translating real‐world planning challenges into analytical insights that strengthen forecast quality and unlock value across markets.
Responsibilities:
Shape the baseline forecast that fuels our monthly S&OP cycle, ensuring teams begin with a strong and data grounded starting point. Interrogate and strengthen forecasting models using input stress tests, model diagnostics, and structured root cause analysis. Continuously elevate item and site level forecast accuracy through daily, weekly, and monthly Demand Analytics routines. Partner with Planning Excellence, One Forecast, and Analytics teams to influence model improvements and machine learning interpretability Monitor forecast performance and proactively address quality degradation. Lead continuous improvement workstreams that address cross category patterns and systematically reduce forecast error implementing AI agents to support analysis Apply innovation mindset to strengthen forecasting performance through mastering current technologies and pioneering new ones creating Power BI visualizations of data from multiple sources. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Data Engineering, Business Analytics, or equivalent experience. 2-5 years of experience in Planning Analytics. Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills along with AI and data visualization capabilities Strong stakeholder management and team leadership skills-across functions and levels A track record of accountability, coaching others, breakthrough problem solving, and end to end Supply Chain thinking The ability to influence, inspire, and drive strategic conversations that shape performance
