DESCRIPTION
Join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Sr Manufacturing Planner/Scheduler, where you'll contribute to production planning and scheduling for scientific instruments. In this role, you'll develop and manage production schedules, enhance manufacturing processes, and ensure timely delivery to meet customer demand. You'll work with cross-functional teams, analyze production metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining quality standards. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to scientific advancement through effective manufacturing operations.REQUIREMENTS
- Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in manufacturing planning/scheduling or related role
Preferred Fields of Study:
Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry standards
- Advanced proficiency in manufacturing software, production planning tools, MS Office, and Power BI
- Experience developing and analyzing KPI dashboards and production metrics
- Proven ability to manage complex production schedules and optimize inventory levels
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making capability
- Excellence in cross-functional team collaboration and stakeholder communication
- Demonstrated organizational and time management abilities
- Experience providing guidance and mentorship to team members
- Commitment to maintaining safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Ability to identify process improvements and implement effective solutions
- Strong project management skills Compensation and Benefits The salary range estimated for this position based in New Jersey is $112,500.
