Job Description

SUPPLY CHAIN INTERNSHIP
Dialight is the world leader in LED industrial lighting technology with millions of LED fixtures installed worldwide. We enable industrial customers operating in demanding environments to reduce their energy costs, maintenance costs, and carbon footprint while maximizing the safety and productivity of their facilities. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to support our operations team. This role offers hands-on experience in planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The intern will work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and sales teams to improve supply chain efficiency and performance. Key Responsibilities Assist with demand planning and forecasting activities Support procurement processes, including supplier communication and purchase order tracking Analyze inventory levels and help maintain optimal stock levels to meet production needs Track and report key supply chain metrics (e.g., lead times, fill rates, on-time delivery) Help identify process improvement opportunities and support implementation initiatives Participate in logistics coordination, including inbound materials and outbound shipments Create and maintain reports using Excel or ERP systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams on ongoing projects and daily operations Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs; familiarity with data visualization tools is a plus) Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Interest in manufacturing, operations, or industrial products What You ll Gain Hands-on experience in a real-world manufacturing supply chain Exposure to end-to-end operations, from sourcing to delivery Mentorship from experienced supply chain professionals Opportunity to contribute to impactful process improvements Networking opportunities within the organization
