Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Specialist, Parts Logistics to identify customer needs, recommend solutions, and ensure the timely and accurate ordering of parts. This role requires strong sales acumen, a customer-first mindset, and the ability to build lasting client relationships.
The position operates in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and accountability are critical. The ideal candidate can effectively manage multiple priorities, communicate proactively with customers and internal stakeholders, and maintain a strong sense of urgency while delivering exceptional service.
ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent communicationGenerate parts proposals, purchase orders, and sales order confirmations with a high degree of accuracy under tight deadlinesReceive and process customer orders efficiently, ensuring no lapses in follow-up or correspondenceExecute urgent customer requests and resolve issues quickly in time-critical situationsMaintain strong customer relationships while managing high volumes of requestsProvide rapid and precise pricing and quotationsCollaborate with vendors and internal teams to obtain accurate data quicklyMaintain accurate reporting and ensure data integrityParticipate in on-call rotations requiring after-hours responsivenessConduct customer/site visits while managing workloadProactively escalate issues and communicate risksAnnual compensation: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 Annually The posted salary range reflects the compensation the company reasonably expects to offer for this position. Actual compensation will not be less than the posted minimum and will be based on multiple factors.
QualificationsRequirements/Skills and Abilities:
Degree AS/BS/BA
in Engineering, Business or Communications OR Equivalent technical sales or customer support experience3-5 years inside sales or customer service experienceProven ability to function in a high-demand, fast-paced environmentAbility to work with minimal tolerance for errors and high responsiveness expectationsStrong technical aptitude and ability to learn systems quicklyProfessional and consistent customer-facing communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and follow-throughStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsExcellent organization and time managementAbility to manage high workloads while maintaining accuracyIntermediate MS Excel; ERP experience preferredStrong interpersonal communicationAbility to work independently and remain accountableExperience in material handling or technical equipment partsAbility to read technical or electrical drawingsForklift / PMHV Licenses or ability to obtain within 3 months of hiringAbility to travel up to 10% of the time, as per business needsAbility to work rotating weekends as per the on-call scheduleAbility to read technical and electrical drawings to identify parts needed by the customerCommitment Required:
