45/hour+ 10% differential = $21.39/hour Duties and Responsibilities Daily routing of orders in accordance with the transportation route guide. Checks and verifies incoming and outgoing shipments by comparing identifying information and quantities against relevant records. Monitoring the movement of goods by ensuring that products are delivered to the right location, at the right time, and in the most cost-effective manner. Schedule appointments in WMS for all loads, coordinating with the DC manager and/or third-party facility manager for dock capacity scheduling and special shipping requirements. Review the previous day's dock schedule to ensure all orders are shipped; if not, reschedule. Collaborate with drop carriers to maintain the trailer pool and coordinate with relevant parties on loads not scheduled by the end of the period. Maintains appropriate inventory levels, including inventory of shipping materials and supplies. Arranges warehousing and transportation of products to customers, ensuring compliance with customer guidelines regarding shipment weight and method. Escalate any trending customer-driven delivery issues to customers. May investigate and respond to inquiries regarding distribution and shipping. May collaborate with other departments to optimize the supply chain. Provide recommendations in support of maintaining continuous process improvements. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition. Responsible for following warehouse safety regulations. All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports. Required Skills and Experience 2+ years of prior logistics experience.
