Founded in 1991, with 14,000 employees worldwide 8 global R D centers, investing ~10% of annual revenue into innovation North American headquarters in Mahwah, NJ, with 40+ international subsidiaries What You'll Do As a Planner I, you will support material planning and inventory management activities for assigned product lines to help ensure material availability and timely fulfillment of customer demand. Working closely with Purchasing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Supply Chain teams, you will play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production schedules, and driving operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include:
Create purchase requisitions based on MRP recommendations, forecasts, and customer demand. Release and monitor purchase orders and internal stock transfer orders (ISTOs), assisting with expediting materials as needed. Release and track work orders to support production and customer requirements. Coordinate disposition, rework, and purge activities for assigned products. Communicate product availability, supply concerns, and potential risks to internal stakeholders. Monitor inventory levels and support inventory reduction and optimization initiatives. Maintain planning reports and ensure data accuracy within ERP systems. Identify and escalate potential shortages, excess inventory, and supply chain risks. Participate in cross-functional meetings supporting assigned product lines. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Planning and Supply Chain organization. What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. 2-4 years of experience in planning, supply chain, manufacturing, operations, or a related environment. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems; SAP experience is preferred. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to collaborate across multiple departments and levels of the organization. Desire to learn and develop expertise in planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations. Work Environment Primarily office-based with occasional exposure to production and warehouse environments. Ability to work additional hours, including evenings or weekends, as needed to support business objectives.
