Equipment Technician

NJRA relies on equipment technicians to facilitate a seamless clinical experience for our patients. Whether we are setting up rooms to prepare for admissions, providing education, or performing preventative maintenance, our technicians play a vital role in providing patients what they need to recover.

Duties:

Perform equipment & supply setups, specifically for individuals requiring BiPAP/CPAP, tracheostomy care, and supplemental oxygen Safely handle and deliver equipment for needed set ups Complete necessary paperwork for deliveries and returns Professionally represent the company in communicating accordingly with nurses and patients as needed Maintain company vehicle in clean and orderly manner per company standards Follow company process to clean and stock all returned purchased/rental equipment/supplies Support yearend inventory audit Participate in the weekly and weekend on-call rotations Other duties assigned as needed

Requirements:

Possess a valid and current driver's license and auto insurance. Strong communication skills that let you converse comfortably with patients, nursing, and administration. Prior professional driving experience Basic computer skills Would like to see : Prior experience in the medical equipment set up atmosphere Microsoft Office experience

Physical Requirements:

Ability to drive long distances for extended periods of time Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds Locations NJRA services the entire state of New Jersey as well as parts of Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland.
