Production Planner Location:

West Deptford, NJ Our client is seeking an experienced Production/Supply Chain Planner to support operations during a major SAP system transition. Due to the increased workload associated with this transition, this role will provide critical support in production planning, data analysis, and cross-functional communication across the manufacturing organization. This position requires a hands-on planner who is comfortable working with data, collaborating with multiple departments, and spending time on the production floor to ensure accurate planning and execution.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain production schedules to support manufacturing and supply chain operations
• Analyze production data, inventory levels, and material availability to optimize planning activities
• Work closely with manufacturing teams on the production floor to ensure schedules are achievable and aligned with operational capacity
• Support the ongoing SAP system transition by managing planning data, reporting, and system inputs
• Collaborate with supply chain, operations, and leadership teams to communicate production priorities and resolve scheduling challenges
• Utilize advanced Excel tools to track planning metrics, analyze data, and generate reports
• Monitor material flow, capacity constraints, and production performance to proactively identify and resolve issues
• Ensure clear communication across all functions of the business to maintain alignment on production goals and timelines

Job Requirements Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in production planning, supply chain planning, or manufacturing operations
• Strong data analysis skills with advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, reporting)
• Experience working within ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Ability to communicate effectively with teams across operations, supply chain, and leadership
• Comfortable working both in an office environment and on the production floor
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills in fast-paced manufacturing environments
