Know Your Team:
Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care hospital with 263 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care, including around-the-clock emergency care, surgical services, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke care, and radiology and oncology services. Responsibilities The Materials Tech I position will perform a variety of routine tasks and functions to receive, ship, and distribute supplies to hospital departments, providing timely and accurate availability of required materials through adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance and patient safety.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Data entry experience. Valid Driver?s license. One (1) year of related warehouse, inventory, or customer service experience.
Preferred Job Requirements:
Strong verbal and written communication skills. MS Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel). Forklift certification. Experience with the use of heavy equipment, such as forklift, pallet jack, dock equipment, etc. Ability to drive department-owned vehicles, including but not limited to a box truck . Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to act independently. Demonstrates initiative, dependability, and flexibility to work in a fast-paced work environment. Ability to review information and take action.
