Duties Help This position is loced in a Division Headquarters of the Army Nional Guard (ARNG). The purpose of the position is to administer the logistical activities of the Division. Plans and coordines all mters pertaining to supply, organizional maintenance, troop movements, logistic readiness, services, and miscellaneous logistic support of the command and its subordine elements. Maintains close and continuous coordinion with such support activities responsible for logistic support operions as the USPFO, the CSMS, and DLOGS. Monitors logistic readiness by reviewing qualitive and quantitive reports on the stus of equipment in comparison with requirements and availability. Prepares logistic estimes, reports, and plans and recommends actions to enhance the command meriel readiness posture. Reviews MTOE/TDA's and recommends additions and deletions. Makes recommendions regarding the distribution of critical end items affecting meriel readiness and oversees and coordines actions resulting from acceptance of those recommendions. Advises and assists other staff personnel in logistic mters pertaining to their areas of responsibility and assesses current and proposed operions and plans for logistic impact. Oversees, coordines, and administers the logistic functions of the subordine elements by developing and issuing policy guidance on logistic mters including receipt, storage, issue, turn-in, in-storage maintenance of supplies, property accountability, supply economy, supply discipline, troop movements and billeting for training exercises, etc. Inities and coordines training in supply subjects for approprie personnel in the command. Analyzes the facilities requirements of the units and plans, coordines, and/or recommends improvement, modificion, and construction of facilities. Administers the Food Service Program of the Division and subordine units. Coordines with the Division Operions and Training Specialist for procurement of needed supplies, transportion, billeting, etc., in L.L;;".: 3f training activities. Visits units to conduct inspections and provide guidance and assistance in logistical mters. Supervises the Division Supply Discipline program. 'Develops guidelines for conducting convoy movements of troops. Works in close harmony with DLOGS personnel and DISCOM commander on such property mters as inventory adjustments, DLOGS Da Base, MTOE additions or deletion, etc. Monitors equipment stus, determines maintenance requirements, and recommends maintenance priorities. Coordines maintenance support by external organizions. Evalues the adequacy of the internal maintenance organizion of the command, the skills of the personnel engaged in unit maintenance activities, and facilities and makes approprie recommendions to improve or uphold the maintenance posture of the command. Develops budget estimes for logistic areas such as troop movement, rions, supply, maintenance, etc. Serves as member of Division Program Budgeting Activity Committee (PBAC). Prepares justificion for budget items. Recommends priority for expenditure of funds for procurement of needed items for support of operions. Performs other duties as assigned. Must have experience, educion, or training which involved detailed knowledge of organizions and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities).   • 1-year specialized experience, educion or training equivalent to least the next lower grade level.
Must have experience, educion, or training which includes identifying activities involving logistical support operions. Experience integring the actions of a variety of specialized support activities in order to develop a comprehensive logistics plan. Experience monitoring such functions as program planning, resource and fiscal management, training, manpower management, and/or automed da processing to meet the logistics plan. Experience identifying delays or problems and developing corrective actions. Educion You must provide transcripts or other documention to support your Educional claims. Relocion Incentive :
An authorized management official approves a relocion incentives paid in accordance with this volume to a current federal employee who must reloce, without a break in service, to accept a position in a different geographic area. Employee must establish a new residence in the new geographical area and maintain residency for the durion of service agreement. Employee must have a current and "Fully Successful" performance appraisal immediely prior to the move.
