Job Description
Warehouse/Forklift Specialist White Sands Missile Range, NM $17.75 per Hour Tuesday- Saturday | 5:00 PM - 12:00 AM Open Until Filled Keep Operations Moving. Build Your Future. Are you skilled at operating forklifts, organizing inventory, and keeping warehouse operations running smoothly? Do you enjoy hands-on work where every day brings new challenges? If so, Tresco is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse/Forklift Specialist to join our team at White Sands Missile Range. In this role, you'll be a vital part of the supply chain process, ensuring merchandise is received, organized, transported, and prepared for distribution efficiently and accurately. What You'll Do As a Warehouse/Forklift Specialist, you'll: ✅ Operate forklifts up to 15,000 lbs., pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment ✅ Load and unload trucks and transportation vehicles safely and efficiently ✅ Verify incoming merchandise against receiving documents and report discrepancies or damages ✅ Route, store, stack, and palletize materials according to established procedures ✅ Pull merchandise and prepare shipments for distribution ✅ Offload merchandise using forklifts and electric pallet jacks ✅ Rearrange and prepare merchandise for accurate government receipt and inventory verification ✅ Transport perishable and semi-perishable products to designated storage areas ✅ Separate contractor-stocked items from vendor-stocked merchandise ✅ Inspect merchandise for damage, deterioration, or expired code dates ✅ Maintain a clean and organized warehouse by sweeping, mopping, machine scrubbing, and preparing receiving areas for future shipments ✅ Perform other related duties as assigned What We're Looking For Required Qualifications ✔ High School Diploma or GED ✔ One year of post-secondary education ✔ Valid driver's license ✔ Three years of related warehouse experience, including at least one year operating forklifts up to 15,000 lbs., OR a combination of education and experience totaling four years ✔ Ability to maintain forklift endorsement ✔ Ability to qualify for and maintain a Government Operator's License ✔ Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety Why Join Tresco?
