POSITION OVERVIEW
Hangar 7 Aviation is seeking a Flight Logistics Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis, day and night shifts. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for assisting the scheduling and logistics team with various tasks and administration. Duties will include phone reception, processing various documents, data entry, scheduling, customer service, email correspondence, and assisting with private charter bookings and logistics. Must be proficient in Mac, detail-oriented, skilled at multitasking, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment. The ability to be comfortable and meet deadlines is a must requirement.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Answering phones and emails; managing heavy email flow in an organized and efficient manner. Responsible for proactively building relationships with new customers and address customer inquiries/concerns promptly in a professional manner. Manage all facets of trip quoting, sourcing, planning, follow up and flight following. Keep track and confirm all logistics for a charter trip. Constant monitoring of the schedule is required to ensure flights are on-time, trips are completed with all pending items confirmed. Knowledge of national and international FAA regulations, flight planning, Air Traffic Control, Weather and NOTAMS preferred. Have a thorough understanding of FARs and company-approved manuals. Keep up to date with market trends and new business practices. Handle difficult and sensitive situations using sound and independent judgement within general policy and legal guidelines. Required to efficiently communicate inter-departmentally while working with other teams. Act in a supportive role to upper management. Required to work non-standard work week and/or be accessible for periodic on-call duty. Other duties as assigned by the General Manager or as necessary for business.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Must be proficient in Mac Must be experienced and knowledgeable in Google workplace/Suite/Drive Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and multitask Familiar with aircraft operations is a plus Minimum 2 years Office & Sales Administrative experience Diploma/Certificate High School or higher Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written Ability to work with minimal supervision Must be comfortable working with net worth clients Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Knowledge of Part 135 Operations is a plus
