Logistics Coordinator

We are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to support our Transportation Department. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing transportation and shipping operations by coordinating all shipments, booking transportation, preparing required documentation, and ensuring schedules are accurately maintained. Key Responsibilities

• Enter and manage shipment data from creation through delivery
• Track and trace shipments throughout the full lifecycle
• Resolve daily operational issues, including shipment delays and billing discrepancies
• Quote, route, and negotiate carrier rates
• Establish and maintain profitable customer sell rates
• Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including BOLs, packing lists, commercial invoices, import/export documentation, airline documents, and related paperwork
• Provide customers with daily shipment status updates via email
• Collect billing charges and generate accurate customer invoices Core Requirements
• Experience utilizing customer Transportation Management Systems (SAP experience preferred)
• Strong email management skills with proficiency in Microsoft Outlook
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in customer-facing freight forwarding operations
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience booking freight (routing, line hauls, couriers, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
• Solid operational background in logistics or freight forwarding Pay Range- $22-$28
