Router We are looking for a responsible Router to ensure that all regular accounts have a position on a standard route and to establish realistic and reasonable time windows for each account and delivery. You will minimize routing costs while maintaining a standard of service that our customers deserve.

Variable days Monday-Sunday 10:00AM until finished

Pay:

$23.00-$25.00/hour

Responsibilities:

Build efficient and cost-effective routes. Field driver complaints propose acceptable solutions. Build pallet, unload sequence in truck builder software. Provide service reports by customer or route upon request. Analyze ways to save miles including re-routing some areas. Review and adjust routes based on DOT weight restrictions. Communicate as necessary with Transportation Supervisors. Track and report on day usage by customer, salesman and district. Utilize reports to maximize on day usage by customers. Research issues related with existing accounts and adjusted as needed. Perform maintenance in current routing software and update account information and routes. Creates daily, weekly, and master schedules for drivers and equipment, incorporating customer demands. Lead communication with the Sales department and Transportation Supervisors to discuss options for deliveries to new customers. Review, evaluate and adjust routes (if needed) based on routing change requests and reply to requests in a timely manner. Collaborate and assist the routing team across the organization.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of Transportation and large fleet routing experience with geographical knowledge. Tech-savvy. Communicate effectively. Previous Microsoft Office experience. Previous experience with route building software.
