About the job: As a Demand Planner, you are part of a dynamic team responsible for forecasting and demand planning functions for assigned accounts, managing inventory levels, and preparing analytical summaries for customer and internal use. You will collaborate with internal departments and our retail partners to provide ongoing analysis and monitoring of performance.

What You Will Be Doing:
Create and maintain weekly and monthly SKU forecasts for all assigned accounts. Utilize advanced forecasting tools and techniques to drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy. Develop inventory replenishment strategies and guidelines to support store-level operations and customer demand. Lead or participate in projects aimed at improving demand planning and supply. Perform ongoing analysis and monitoring of actual performance to forecasted plan, identify significant variances, and take corrective actions. Monitor and manage inventory levels for e-commerce channels to ensure optimal product availability and minimize stockouts and overstocks. Collaborate with e-commerce operations and merchandising teams to align replenishment plans with online marketing campaigns and promotions. Prepare and present reports on e-commerce inventory performance, replenishment metrics, and other key data to management. Collaborate with Sales team to integrate demand drivers into forecasts including store counts, promotional activity, new style updates, phase-out strategies, placement, pricing and internal revenue budgets. Work cross-functionally to create new product launch forecasts. Monitor daily EDI orders by account. Manage inventory flow so that both customer requirements and target inventory levels are achieved. Gather and analyze forecast relevant information from internal and external account sources which include inventory policies, planning objectives and events such as customer builds and fills. Build forecasts for major accounts by using POS, shipment patterns, gathered retailer/e-commerce relevant information, and buying data. Perform regularly scheduled and ad-hoc analysis and reporting related to forecast performance metrics, inventory levels, and order fill rates. Prepare and present various analytical summaries (sales, inventory, etc.) to customers and internal teams. Skills Needed to Be Successful in
This Role:
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in demand forecasting tools and inventory management software. Advanced Excel skills including complex formulas, macros, and pivot tables. Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task, and prioritize. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferably in Math, Business, Supply Chain, Statistics, Finance, Operations or Engineering. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Wholesale, E-commerce or Retail Planning in a fast-paced CPG environment. Amazon experience is highly preferred. APICS Certification preferred. Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
