In this role, you will coordinate shipments, communicate with drivers and brokers, and help ensure efficient and on-time freight delivery. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced trucking environment and enjoys logistics coordination and operational problem-solving. Responsibilities Coordinate and dispatch freight shipments using transportation management systems (TMS) and load boards Communicate with drivers, brokers, carriers, and customers regarding shipment schedules and delivery updates Monitor freight movements and proactively resolve delays or operational issues Maintain accurate records of loads, invoices, rate confirmations, and shipping documentation Assist with route planning, scheduling, and load optimization Support billing coordination and operational reporting Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and safety standards Provide excellent customer service and operational support Requirements Previous experience in logistics, transportation, dispatching, or freight coordination preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Excel, email communication, and logistics software Reliable and team-oriented work ethic Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with DAT, Truckstop, TMS platforms, and ELD systems Experience working with trucking companies or freight brokers Knowledge of freight operations, routing, and dispatch procedures Familiarity with DOT compliance and transportation regulations Bilingual (English/Spanish or Russian) is a plus Pay & Benefits Competitive pay: $25.5 - $31.1 per hour (based on experience) Performance-based bonuses Weekly or bi-weekly pay Opportunities for career growth and advancement Supportive and collaborative work environment Why Join Drummond Freight Carriers, LLC.?
