Construction Assistant/ Freight Logistics

Responsibilities:

Load and unload freight shipments to and from job sites. Organizing and controlling inventory Packing goods for safe transport . Self perform and manage a multitude of tasks. Assist trade professionals on daily tasks. General ability/knowledge of the construction trade. Complete independent tasks with general explanation. Keeping a positive attitude during difficult tasks. Ability to learn new skills in a reasonable amount of time. Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris. Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks. Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure safety and efficiency on the job site. Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks. Team oriented to complete tasks in a timely matter Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.

Experience:

Previous experience in construction or a related field is preferred but not required. Familiarity with construction tools and equipment is a plus. Strong work ethic and willingness to learn on the job. Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions. Ability to work well in a team environment.

Benefits:

4- 10hr days per week February 1st to October 31st & 5 - 8 hour days per week November 1st to January 30th.
