$68,000.00-$85,000.00 Job Summary The Billing Manager is responsible for managing relationships with outsourced AR vendors, serving as the primary point of contact for vendor inquiries, and ensuring effective communication of policy, process, and payer updates. This role supports revenue cycle objectives through vendor performance monitoring, reconciliation of vendor activity, and identification of trends impacting AR. The Manager collaborates with IT and operational teams to drive process efficiencies within the patient accounting system.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary point of contact for vendor billing teams, ensuring timely and effective communication Manage vendor relationships, ensuring responsiveness and adherence to contract scope and timelines Monitor and audit vendor performance; communicate trends, issues, and opportunities to leadership Review and reconcile vendor closeout and monthly reports to ensure accounts are worked appropriately Maintain oversight of work queues (WQs), vendor inventories, and reconciliation processes Identify key trends and collaborate with registration, coding, billing, and follow-up teams to resolve issues Partner with IT and operational teams to implement process improvements and system optimizations Complete charge adjustments and allowance postings as needed Develop, document, and maintain revenue cycle policies, procedures, and vendor workflows Lead planning and coordination of vendor calls and ongoing operational meetings Ensure timely escalation and resolution of vendor-related issues and delays Support leadership with vendor evaluations, performance reviews, and reporting Adhere to Montefiore New Rochelle performance standards, policies, and behavioral expectations Perform additional duties and special projects assigned by leadership

Education & Experience Requirements Education:

High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience:
