- Support the senior Healthcare Services analyst and team in detailed coverage of over 20 companies.
- Follow industry changes, competitive dynamics, and financial trends to publish thought leading research on the healthcare supply chain.
- Determine investment ratings and price targets using discounted cash flow, sum of the parts, and comparable company analysis.
- Develop relationships and collaborate with company management teams, industry experts, and thought leaders to monitor market share shifts, industry trends, and policy impact on the healthcare industry.
- Create and maintain company models develop earnings forecasts, and industry models leveraging skills in accounting, finance and economics.
- Provide industry and company specific insights to Morgan Stanley's institutional investor client base (leading hedge funds and mutual funds).
- Conduct industry diligence and primary research through surveys, expert conference calls, and various channel checks to evaluate industry trends. Qualifications
- External Experience required:
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience in Investment Banking/M&A/Equity Research/ Strategy consulting.
- Healthcare industry knowledge.
Candidate must have:
- Experience working with three statement financial models
- Strong excel skills
- Intellectual curiosity
- Strong work ethics and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently to produce accurate, detailed materials in tight deadlines
- Attention to details
- Ability to multi task
- Superior time management skills
