Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic procurement team as a Buyer - Associate, where you'll play a vital role in sourcing and purchasing materials, products, and services that drive our business forward. This energetic position offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure seamless supply chain operations. Your expertise will help optimize inventory levels, manage vendor relationships, and support the overall procurement strategy to meet organizational goals efficiently and effectively. Duties Assist in sourcing suppliers and evaluating vendor performance to secure the best quality and pricing. Utilize ERP systems such as Visual Manufacturing by Infor. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including logistics, production planning, and merchandising to align procurement activities with business needs. Support inventory management efforts by monitoring stock levels, conducting inventory control checks, and coordinating replenishments through MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems. Participate in sourcing initiatives for new products or materials, ensuring compliance with company policies and supply chain best practices. Skills Proficiency with ERP systems for procurement processes. Strong understanding of materials management, inventory control, supply chain management, and logistics operations. Ability to analyze pricing structures and support production planning activities effectively. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with vendors.
