Demand Planner & Analyst Love Beets Production LLC Rochester, NY Job Details Full-time $75,000 - $95,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Operational analysis Teamwork Manufacturing facility Attention to detail Time management Full Job Description Summary The Demand Planner & Analyst is responsible for developing, managing, and continuously improving the factory production plan to ensure customer orders are fulfilled safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. The role is accountable for balancing customer demand, raw material availability, labor utilization, production capacity, inventory levels, and factory performance to maximize operational efficiency and minimize waste. While also analyzing and understanding actual and forecasted sales to ensure that the plan made meets these requirements for both short term and long-term views. This position plays a critical role in driving data-driven decision making through KPI reporting, production analysis, ERP/MRP system management, forecasting, and continuous improvement initiatives across Love Beets Production (LBP).

Monday-Friday Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, production plans, and schedules to ensure customer demand is met while optimizing capacity, inventory levels, labor utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor sales performance, forecast accuracy, inventory levels, production attainment, and service performance, proactively identifying risks, opportunities, and corrective actions.
  • Create, manage, and continuously update daily, weekly, seasonal, and long-term production schedules within the ERP/MRP system, ensuring alignment across all operational functions.
  • Produce and analyze operational KPIs and performance reports, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making, cost control, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain the integrity of ERP/MRP master data, including item setup, bills of materials, routings, production standards, inventory transactions, and scheduling parameters to ensure planning accuracy and traceability.
  • Lead and support process improvement initiatives by developing standard operating procedures, streamlining planning and reporting processes, and driving automation, standardization, and lean manufacturing practices.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Maintenance, Warehousing, Quality, Commercial, Finance, and Product Development teams to align operational priorities, support product launches, and ensure effective communication across the business.
  • Facilitate planning, scheduling, sales, and forecasting meetings, communicating key decisions, actions, risks, and performance outcomes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure production plans support customer requirements, quality standards, food safety compliance, and operational best practices, while investigating and resolving planning-related issues.
  • Contribute to business profitability through effective production planning, material utilization, inventory management, waste reduction, and continuous improvement of operational performance.
Attributes Proven experience in production planning, supply chain planning, or manufacturing operations. Experience using ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment. Understanding of inventory management and forecasting principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel capability. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience within food manufacturing or FMCG environments. Experience with KPI development and reporting tools. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles. Continuous improvement mindset. Minimum Qualifications 3 years of related experience
