Full benefits available (Medical, Dental, Vision) with a cafeteria-style plan based on your needs. We are currently seeking Material Control Attendants in Yonkers, NY.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Material Control Attendant, your day-to-day duties will consist of and may not be limited to: Performing material control functions such as kiting, tracking, and moving materials using written work procedures and engineering drawings. Assembling kits with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Handling warehousing duties including shipping and receiving while maintaining accurate documentation. Conducting cycle counts to maintain shelf locations as prescribed by written work procedures. Utilizing SAP and the company's inventory system to verify inventory, research transactions, and manage issues and receipts effectively. Supporting production by servicing and expediting materials, identifying shortages, and tracking material flow. Operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting overall manufacturing operations. Following all safety, quality, and operational procedures in a manufacturing environment. Performing additional warehouse and stockroom duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in material control, stockroom, warehouse, or related manufacturing support roles. Manufacturing environment experience preferred. SAP experience is required. Ability to read and interpret written work procedures and engineering drawings. Experience using inventory management or ERP systems. Strong arithmetic, counting, and inventory tracking skills. Familiarity with hand tools such as tape measures, hammers, and nails. Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Ability to work independently and within a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Physically capable of lifting, pushing, or pulling materials weighing at least 40 pounds. Comfortable climbing stairs and ladders in an active industrial setting.
