Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the flow of goods and materials through the supply chain, ensuring timely delivery while providing great customer service! This role requires strong organizational skills, ability to work in a fast pace environment and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to enhance operational efficiency. Duties Coordinate supply chain activities, including transportation planning and warehouse management, to optimize logistics operations. Manage relationships with suppliers, vendors and customers to ensure smooth logistics operations. Maintain accurate records within a TMS for tracking shipments. Stay up to date on current supply chain trends and market rates. Assist Director of Operations Answer phones in a professional and timely manner Enter load information into multiple systems Sales (phone calls & emails) This position does require some after hours and weekend work on occasions Skills Ability to multi-task Ability to work within multiple system Communication skills Customer service skills -interact positively with customers to satisfy their needs and resolve their problems in a pleasant and professional manner Time Management Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast pace and sometimes stressful environment. Critical thinking skills
