Key Responsibilities Manufacturing Support Support production operations through material staging, kitting, and line support. Assist with assembly, processing, and related shop-floor activities as needed. Ensure components and materials are available to meet production schedules. Maintain adherence to work instructions, quality standards, and 5S requirements. Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives Supply Chain/ Logistics Coordinate material flow between receiving, warehouse, and production areas. Support inventory control, cycle counts, and stock accuracy. Assist with demand fulfillment and internal order tracking. Communicate material shortages and expedite needs to the appropriate teams. Shipping & Receiving Receive incoming materials, spindles, inspect for accuracy and damage, and process transactions in the ERP system. Prepare outbound shipments including packaging, labeling, and documentation. Coordinate domestic and international shipments with carriers as required. Ensure compliance with shipping regulations, company procedures, and customer requirements. Work with the shipping/receiving colleague to be each other's backup. Load/unload trucks using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.) Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or EquivalentExperience:
Experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain operations. Working knowledge of shipping & receiving processes. Ability to read basic work instructions and follow standard operating procedures. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a production environment. Basic computer skills (ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, data entry) Ability to communicate effectively across teams (production, supply chain, leadership) Team-oriented with a "hands-on" approach.
Technical Skills:
Forklift certification or experience Experience with ERP systems (SAP, M3, or similar) Knowledge of inventory control methods (cycle counting, FIFO, etc.) Experience in industrial/manufacturing environments (air dryers, spindle reman, machining, etc.)
Other Requirements:
This role is responsible for supporting daily production operations while ensuring efficient material flow through shipping, receiving, inventory control, and internal logistics. This position plays a key role in maintaining on-time delivery, accurate inventory, and smooth coordination between manufacturing, supply chain, and customer requirements, and other duties as assigned.
