PRIMARY PURPOSE
Distribution Technicians play a pivotal role towards the success of our mission; to save and enhance lives. Every year, hundreds of thousands of our grafts are distributed world-wide from our Kettering facility, and the primary purpose of a Distribution Technician is to fulfill those orders both accurately and efficiently. Grafts are shipped both frozen and ambiently via ground and air. Collectively the team will also assist Customer Service in their mission to distribute The Gift to its recipients. This is a 10-hour, four day week position, Monday - Thursday 0800-1830.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Distribution Technician I 1. Responsible for inspecting, packing, and shipping of tissue for distribution. 2. Responsible for stocking newly released inventory. 3. Assist in regular inventory verification. 4. Responsible for maintaining shipping data base of customers. 5. Assist in the bulk mailing of marketing packets. 6. Ensure the Distribution area is kept orderly and that Distribution functions are completed accurately and in a timely manner. 7. Responsible for reviewing all related paperwork generated by Distribution to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, work instructions and applicable regulations. 8. Participate in the on-call rotation schedule required for the emergency ordering process and alarm systems. 9. Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Distribution Technician I High school diploma or equivalent required. Certified Tissue Bank Specialist (CTBS) preferred Must be able to follow directions and serve as a team member. Must be able to report numbers accurately and monitor error control. WORK ENVIRONMENT and

Distribution Technician I Heavy lifting required. Must be able to meet the required physical demands with or without reasonable accommodation.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree At least six (6) months experience in a leadership or management role. Previous training experience •For those interested in being assigned to drive company vehicle, in circumstances where courier is unavailable to drop off shipments to FedEx/UPS locations, a valid drivers license and ability to be covered on company insurance policy would be required.
