Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Service Coordinator for our Fireplace Service team. In this vital role, you will coordinate service appointments, communicate with clients and technicians, and ensure smooth operations for fireplace maintenance, repairs, and installations. Your proactive approach will help deliver outstanding customer experiences while supporting our team in maintaining efficient workflows. Responsibilities Schedule and coordinate service appointments for fireplace maintenance, repair, and installation projects. Communicate clearly with customers via phone, text and email to confirm appointments, provide updates, and answer inquiries with excellent phone etiquette. Dispatch technicians efficiently by utilizing GPS and transportation planning to optimize routes. Maintain accurate data entry of service requests, customer details, and job statuses on our in house system. Track freight shipments of parts and equipment through shipping & receiving processes; coordinate with Fireplace Manager and suppliers to ensure timely delivery. Support fleet management activities by monitoring vehicle schedules and maintenance needs. Provide exceptional communication support within a multi-line phone system while demonstrating professionalism and strong analysis skills. Ability to multitask handling the needs of multiple active service tickets at a time. Experience Previous experience in logistics, transportation management systems, or dispatching roles preferred. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools, freight tracking, shipping & receiving procedures, and supply chain operations is highly desirable. Forklift and/or pallet jack experience is a plus - if not certified for forklift use we do offer in house training Strong analysis skills combined with excellent communication abilities—both verbal and written—are essential for success in this role. Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy. Experience working with multi-line phone systems and providing top-tier customer service is a plus.
