Job Description

Transportation Fleet Coordinator Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented person to primarily oversee the preventative maintenance, repairs, and detailing of a school transportation fleet of minivans. Light vehicle maintenance will be done in house, but preventive and major repairs are outsourced. Other aspects will be maintaining facility operations for the fleet, including parts inventory, GPS/dashcams, and light grounds maintenance. Responsibilities Coordinate daily fleet operations and schedules Monitor vehicle maintenance, perform inspections, and schedule repairs to ensure safety and reliability Maintain accurate records for vehicles, drivers, and regulatory compliance Communicate with drivers on schedules and resolve issues Ensure adherence to company policies, transportation regulations, and safety standards Work with vendors and service providers for maintenance and repairs Light facility and grounds maintenance Assist with driver issues and emergency calls Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Experience in transportation, logistics, or fleet management Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Understanding of vehicle maintenance concepts Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite • Good driving record Preferred Skills Experience with GPS tracking and routing systems Ability to analyze data and create reports Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Benefits $38,000-$50,000 a year Health insurance Dental and Vision Life Insurance Paid time off / vacation days
