The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fulfillment, MRP processes, supplier management, and day-to-day material and transportation follow-up. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth flow of materials and optimizing supply chain operations.
Transportation follow-up: Follow up with the transportation team, on shipment status, Track shipments, and liaise with transportation providers to ensure timely deliveries. Notify Scheduling and Receiving on impending shipment arrivals.
Other duties may be assigned. QualificationsBachelor's degree and a minimum of three (3) years of scheduling or planning experience in a manufacturing (warehouse, purchasing or logistics) environment OR an Associate's degree and a minimum of five (5) years of scheduling or planning experience in a manufacturing (warehouse, purchasing or logistics) environment OR an equivalent combination of education experience.
Strong understanding of MRP systems and processes.
Proven experience in supplier relationship management.
Excellent analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
APICS certification or willingness to obtain.

Key Responsibilities:
Fulfillment:
Monitor material availability and advise on potential shortages. Maintains Replenishment signals to assure a smooth flow of materials to the Manufacturing floor and enable Operational efficiency. Upload commitment dates from supplier intoLeanDNAMRP Process Management:
Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems to analyze inventory needs, ensure timely replenishment, and reduce excess stock.Supplier Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers. Conduct performance reviews and collaborate with them to improve quality, delivery, and cost efficiency. Generate and distribute open order and past due reports, LOB's (Line of Balance) and Shortage reports- weekly for each supplier.Transportation follow-up: Follow up with the transportation team, on shipment status, Track shipments, and liaise with transportation providers to ensure timely deliveries. Notify Scheduling and Receiving on impending shipment arrivals.
Data Analysis:
Analyze inventory data and supplier performance metrics to identify trends, make recommendations for improvements, and report on material costs.Continuous Improvement:
Resolve items on the DMR (discrepant material report), tracking root cause and proposed corrective actions so the issues do not recur. Track lost or defective parts and work with vendors to resolve disputes and discrepancies.Collaboration:
Work closely with production, quality, and sales teams to align material supply with operational requirements. Manages daily support for production needs such as expediting material, setting priorities, and addressing supply issues.Other duties may be assigned.
