1498767 Job Overview Tekberry is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Specialist to support shipping, receiving, and logistics operations for our client, a leader in electric vehicle battery lifecycle management and advanced battery services. This position is responsible for supporting the safe and accurate movement of high-voltage EV battery packs and related components. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant warehouse environment. This role offers an opportunity to learn specialized logistics processes related to high-voltage EV batteries, hazardous materials handling, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Shipping & Receiving Operations Assist with inbound and outbound shipments of EV battery packs and related components Verify purchase orders, shipping documentation, and incoming deliveries for accuracy Prepare outgoing shipments and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate Update shipping, receiving, and inventory control systems as required Hazardous Materials & Compliance Learn and follow hazardous materials shipping procedures and EV battery handling protocols Obtain and maintain Hazardous Material certification as required Ensure labeling, packaging, and documentation comply with DOT, IATA, OSHA, and company requirements Utilize checklists and established procedures to ensure regulatory compliance Inventory & Warehouse Support Maintain accurate inventory records and system updates Assist with warehouse organization and material movement activities Support special logistics projects and warehouse initiatives as assigned Perform additional warehouse and inventory duties as needed Safety & Quality Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Participate in all required EV battery, hazardous materials, and high-voltage safety training Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements Prioritize safety when handling battery packs, components, and warehouse materials Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Basic computer and data entry skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn hazardous materials handling and EV battery logistics processes Preferred Qualifications Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience Experience using warehouse management or inventory systems Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks Experience in manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environments Work Environment This is an onsite essential role supporting EV battery production and logistics operations in a warehouse environment. The position requires standing, walking, lifting, and material handling throughout the workday.
